Welcome to the home page of nationally acclaimed blues artist Mike Bader

Mike Bader is a powerful live act known for his high energy shows. His stinging leads and smoky vocals reflect a lifelong affiliation with the blues and his originals-- spiced with R & B, zydeco, reggae, latin and funk--get lots of people on the floor. His debut album was named one of the Top U.S. Blues Releases of 2004 in the 11th Annual Real Blues Awards.

Through steady travelling, he is building on a base of support in the Northwest and Midwest states. He has played clubs from Washington to Wisconsin as well as festivals including a headlining appearance at the 3rd Annual Bitterroot Blues Festival.

With veteran bassist Larry Hirshberg and drum phenom Brandon Zimmer, they play smaller venues as a trio, joined by a second guitar, harp or keyboards at larger clubs and festivals. Wherever the Mike Bader Band is playing, there's a good-time boogie going down!
